The Ethiopia Deaf Experience

The Ethiopia Deaf Experience is a project aimed at creating positive awareness about deafness, Deaf culture, and Sign Language in Ethiopia. We also strive to create opportunities for employment and self-reliance for Deaf people and their communities.

The project aims to provide:

• Workshops about deafness, Deaf Culture and sign language for hearing people. The workshops can be adapted to schools, companies, government agencies, and tourists
• Deaf tourism: we provide guided tours in Ethiopia for Deaf and hard of hearing tourists
• Support for Deaf entrepreneurs to help them start their own business.
