The Ethiopia Experience (TEX)

Together with professionals from the tour and travel sector we have set up a project aimed at generating income for our organization through this industry. We are closely involved in The Ethiopia Experience (TEX), a travel brand owned by the Dutch company The Long Trail. TEX is specialized in Community Based Tourism in Ethiopia. They develop all kinds of tourism programs with local people and communities all over Ethiopia. We give active support and help to host visitors to Ethiopia. This project has been essential for the survival of our organization. In recent years this has been a major part of our income model
